CIMM NEWS 17TH-21TH FEBRUARY

IN MARCH, NEASC WILL VISIT US

At CIMM we have NEASC accreditation, which allows us to be recognized as an international school and verifies compliance with high standards in different areas of action.

Every five years, a committee visits our school to monitor and continue to identify and develop opportunities for improvement together with the teaching staff, students and families. The next visit will take place in March, on the 12th, 13th and 14th.

EN MARZO NOS VISITARÁ NEASC

En el CIMM contamos con la acreditación NEASC, lo que nos permite el reconocimiento de colegio internacional y que verifica el cumplimiento de altos estándares en distintos ámbitos de acción.

Cada cinco años, una comisión visita nuestro centro para realizar un seguimiento y continuar identificando y desarrollando oportunidades de mejora junto al equipo docente, el alumnado y las familias. La próxima visita se realizará en marzo, los días 12, 13 y 14.

ONE MONTH TO OUR SPRING PARTY!

On March 21, our spring holiday will take place, a change of date from the original school calendar. We invite you to schedule this important event for our CIMM community and to enjoy this last month of winter.

OPEN DOORS IN ENGLISH

Tomorrow, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the English Open Day for the next academic year will be held. 2025/2026.

Families interested in the stages of Infant Community, Children's House and Taller can get to know the school and our way of working the Montessori method.

PUERTAS ABIERTAS EN INGLÉS

Mañana, de 11:00 a 13:00, se realizará la jornada en inglés de Puertas Abiertas para el próximo curso. 2025/2026 .

Las familias interesadas en las etapas de Comunidad Infantil, Casa de Niños y Talleres podrán conocer la escuela y nuestra forma de trabajar el método Montessori

YOGA AFTERNOON

On Monday, February 17, from 16:00 to 17:30, we are waiting for you at the school for a new yoga session with Miguel Bonal.

The price is 10€ for members of families and CIMM community and 20€ for the general public.

The playroom service will be available at the same time!

El lunes 17 de febrero, de 16:00 a 17:30, os esperamos en la escuela para una nueva sesión de yoga con Miguel Bonal.

El precio es de 10€ para integrantes de las familias y comunidad CIMM y de 20€ para público general.

OLYMPICS FOR PEACE

On January 31, we once again experienced a day full of emotion as we celebrated the II CIMM Peace Olympics. We shared around sport, fellowship, collaboration and camaraderie, and celebrated the effort and commitment of all the countries that participated. Thank you very much to those who were part of a very special day!

OLIMPIADAS POR LA PAZ

El 31 de enero volvimos a vivir una jornada llena de emoción al celebrar las II Olimpiadas por la Paz del CIMM. Compartimos en torno al deporte, el compañerismo, la colaboración y la camaradería, y celebramos el esfuerzo y el compromiso de todos los países que participaron. ¡Muchas gracias a quienes formaron parte de un día muy especial!

TALLER II FIELD TRIP

Fuego and Aire are on an a field trip to Huelva and Sevilla, where they are learning about history and customs and getting to know places of great cultural value.

EXCURSIÓN TALLER II

Fuego y Aire se encuentran de excursión por Huelva y Sevilla, donde están aprendiendo sobre historia y costumbres y conociendo lugares de gran valor cultural.

THE OLYMPICS ARE COMING!

On Friday 31st the II CIMM Peace Olympics will take place. The day will start at the normal time, at 08:30, and the entrance Kiss&Go will be at the external door of the school. The early bird service will operate as usual, as well as the dining room and playroom services.

In the informative mail we have sent the sports, countries and colors of clothing for each athlete, and remember that after the Olympics we will have our awaited winter party, starting at 14:00 in the garden!

¡YA LLEGAN LAS OLIMPIADAS!

El viernes 31 tendrán lugar las II Olimpiadas por la Paz del CIMM. La jornada comenzará en el horario normal, a las 08:30, y el Kiss&Go de entrada será en la puerta externa de la escuela. El aula matinal funcionará de manera habitual, así como los servicios de comedor y ludoteca.

En el correo informativo hemos enviado los deportes, países y colores de vestimenta para cada deportista. ¡Y recordad que después de las Olimpiadas tendremos nuestra esperada fiesta de invierno, desde las 14:00 en el jardín!

EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE WORKSHOP

After the success of the previous workshop on social skills, we are happy to share a new workshop by the hand of our counselor Elisabet.
It is open to boys and girls from CIMM and external to the school. The dynamics are designed so that English-speaking students can also participate.

TALLER DE INTELIGENCIA EMOCIONAL

Tras el éxito del taller anterior de habilidades sociales, nos alegra compartir un nuevo taller de la mano de nuestra Orientadora Elisabet.
Está abierto a niños y niñas del CIMM y externos al colegio. Las dinámicas están planteadas para que puedan participar también el alumnado de habla inglesa.

We remind you the dates of our Open Doors for the next course, where interested families can learn about the school and our way of working. They will be on February 8th in Spanish and on February 22nd in English, both days from 11:00 to 13:00. For secondary school, visits will be made by appointment.

Os recordamos las fechas de nuestras Puertas Abiertas para el próximo curso, donde las familias interesadas podrán conocer la escuela y nuestra forma de trabajar. Serán el 08 de febrero en español y el 22 de febrero el inglés, ambos días de 11:00 a 13:00. Para secundaria, se realizarán visitas con cita previa.

OPEN DOORS!

Do you know families who would like to be part of CIMM? In February we will hold two Open House days, where they will be able to visit our school, get to know the environments and the team of guides and solve doubts about the Montessori philosophy.

When will they be held? February 8th in Spanish and February 22nd in English, from 11:00 to 13:00. For Adolescent Community, visits will be by appointment.

¡PUERTAS ABIERTAS!

¿Conoces a familias que quieran formar parte del CIMM? En febrero realizaremos dos jornadas de Puertas Abiertas, donde podrán visitar nuestro cole, conocer los ambientes y al equipo de guías y resolver dudas sobre la filosofía Montessori.

¿Cuándo? El 08 de febrero en español y el 22 de febrero en inglés, de 11:00 a 13:00. En el caso de secundaria, las visitas se realizarán con cita previa.

SCHOOL FOR FAMILIES

We are pleased to invite school families to participate in an online training organized by the Spanish Montessori Association, free of charge for affiliated schools. The talk "The Impact of Social-Emotional Learning on Children's Brain Development: A Montessori Approach", will be held on February 18 at 19:00 and will be given by Verónica Burbano. We will send you the link for registration.

ESCUELA DE FAMILIAS

Nos alegra invitar a las familias de la escuela a participar de una formación online organizada por la Asociación Montessori Española, gratuita para colegios afiliados. La charla “El Impacto del Aprendizaje Socioemocional en el Desarrollo Cerebral de los Niños: Un Enfoque Montessori”, se realizará el 18 de febrero a las 19:00 y estará a cargo de Verónica Burbano. Os haremos llegar el enlace para la inscripción.

We have received at CIMM the visit of Patricia Navarro, Delegate of the Government of Andalusia in Malaga, accompanied by Miguel Briones, Delegate of Education and Vocational Training and University, Research and Innovation, Ruth Sarabia, Delegate of Social Inclusion, Youth, Family and Equality, Resu Hernandez, Head of the Unit of the Delegation of Social Innovation and Toñi Ledesma, Deputy of Citizenship, Territorial Balance and Delegate of Social Innovation.

We are happy to have been able to share with this delegation the spirit of our school and our way of working.

Hemos recibido en el CIMM la visita de Patricia Navarro, Delegada del Gobierno de la Junta de Andalucía en Málaga, acompañada por Miguel Briones, Delegado de Educación y Formación Profesional y de Universidad, Investigación e Innovación, Ruth Sarabia, Delegada de Inclusión Social, Juventud, familia e Igualdad, Resu Hernández, Jefa de la Unidad de la Delegación de Innovación Social y Toñi Ledesma, Diputada de Ciudadanía, Equilibrio Territorial y Delegada de Innovación Social.

Estamos felices de haber podido compartir con esta delegación el espíritu de nuestra escuela y nuestra forma de trabajar.

THE SECOND TRIMESTER BEGAN!

We begin this new stage with renewed energy and a great desire to continue learning.

We hope that you have been able to rest and enjoy your family time and that, for everyone, 2025 will be a year of peace and connection.

OBSERVATION SEMINAR

Next week we will begin observations in environments for third year families of Casa de Niños and second year families of Taller I and II. To prepare for this important experience, mothers and fathers attended a seminar where they learned how to observe and what to focus on.

La próxima semana comienzan las observaciones en ambientes para familias de tercer año de Casa de Niños y de segundo año de Taller I y II. Para preparar esta importante experiencia, madres y padres asistieron a un seminario donde aprendieron cómo observar y en qué enfocarse.

OPEN DOORS CIMM FAMILIES

If next year your daughter or son changes stage, we invite you on Wednesday January 15 at 17:30 to an open house afternoon where you can meet the new environment and the team of guides who will accompany you in this new beginning.

Si el próximo curso tu hija o hijo cambia de etapa, te invitamos el miércoles 15 de enero a las 17:30 a una tarde de puertas abiertas donde podrás conocer el nuevo ambiente y al equipo de guías que os acompañará en este nuevo comienzo.
