EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES IN INFANT COMMUNITY

This year, the extracurricular offerings for Comunidad Infantil include art, English, music and movement. As we seek to achieve a respectful and friendly approach for the children who will participate for the first time, we invite families to be part of the activities with them during October. They will be able to share their first afternoons of learning and accompany them in their adaptation experience.

EXTRAESCOLARES EN COMUNIDAD INFANTIL

Este curso, la oferta de extraescolares para Comunidad Infantil incluye arte, inglés, música y movimiento. Como buscamos lograr un acercamiento respetuoso y amable para las niñas y los niños que participarán por primera vez, invitamos a las familias a formar parte de las actividades con ellos durante octubre. Así podrán compartir sus primeras tardes de aprendizaje y acompañarles en su experiencia de adaptación.

We are happy to welcome two new English specialists to the CIMM team: Lucía will join Gretchen in Taller I and Liz will join Joe in Taller II. In this way, we continue strengthening our bilingualism program and building new learning experiences. Thank you for being part of our school!

A NEW SCHOOL YEAR BEGINS!

This week the infant and primary classes have started and on Monday 15th we will welcome back our secondary students. We are happy to see the school full of children again and to start a new stage of experiences and learning. We welcome you to a new school year at CIMM!

Esta semana han comenzado las clases de infantil y primaria y el lunes 15 recibiremos de regreso a nuestro alumnado de secundaria. Estamos felices de ver otra vez la escuela llena de niñas y niños y de empezar una nueva etapa de experiencias y aprendizajes. ¡Os damos la bienvenida a un nuevo curso en el CIMM!

We invite you to review the extracurricular offer for this academic year and to reserve your place through the form available in the CIMM application. Don't be left out! The activities that meet the minimum number of people enrolled will start on October 1st: remember that if you need lunch service for specific days you must fill in the corresponding application form.

Te invitamos a revisar la oferta de extraescolares para este curso y a reservar tu plaza a través del formulario disponible en la aplicación del CIMM. ¡No te quedes fuera! Las actividades que cumplan con el mínimo de personas inscritas comenzarán el 01 de octubre: recuerda que si necesitas comedor para días puntuales debes rellenar la solicitud correspondiente.

SUMMER PARTY IS COMING!

On Friday June 13th at 14:00 we will be waiting for you in the school garden to celebrate the last party of the school year. Adolescent Community is already working on its organization and the preparations of delicious dishes to share with the whole CIMM community. See you!

¡YA VIENE LA FIESTA DE VERANO!

El viernes 13 de junio a las 14:00 os esperamos en el jardín del cole para celebrar la última fiesta de este curso. Comunidad de Adolescentes ya se encuentra trabajando en su organización y las preparaciones de deliciosos platos para compartir con toda la comunidad CIMM. ¡Nos vemos!

CHILDREN’S HOUSE VISITED LOBO PARK

Adolescent Community was in charge of organizing this interesting excursion, in which children from Sol and Luna were able to learn about the life of the wolves in this sanctuary in Antequera.

CASA DE NIÑOS VISITÓ EL LOBO PARK

Comunidad de Adolescentes estuvo a cargo de organizar esta interesante excursión, en que niñas y niños de Sol y Luna pudieron aprender sobre la vida de los lobos en este refugio de Antequera.

BEACH VOLLEY

Studentes from the last year of TallerII participated in a fun day at the beach with Adolescent Community, where they were able to share, get to know each other better and play a beach volleyball championship.

VOLEY PLAYA

Alumnas y alumnos del último curso de Taller II participaron de un entretenido día de playa con Comundiad de Adolescentes, donde pudieron compartir, conocerse más y jugar un campeonato de voley playa.

MUSICAL PICNIC

Last Friday we had a very special picnic, where Taller II students played different instruments and were accompanied by a mom from the school on the vocals of "Don't worry be happy" and "Stand by me". We were also able to listen to the CAMM Gospel Choir in an afternoon full of music on our new stage.

El pasado viernes tuvmos un picnic muy especial, en que estudiantes de Taller II tocaron distintos instrumentos y fueron acompañados por una mamá de la escuela en la voz de “Don’t worry be happy” y “Stand by me”. También pudimos escuchar al Coro Gospel del CAMM en una tarde llena de música sobre nuestro nuevo escenario.

FAMILY BIKEATHON

On Friday June 13th, we will meet at 09:00 (the meeting point is posted on Transparent) to start a bike route to our school. The Alikindoi organization will accompany us on the way and will then hold a workshop on fixing punctures.

At the end of this activity, we will start our summer party in the garden. Don't forget to confirm your attendance on the form before June 9th!

BICICLETADA FAMILIAR

El viernes 13 de junio nos reuniremos a las 09:00 (el punto de encuentro está publicado en Transparent) para comenzar una ruta en bici hasta nuestra escuela. La organización Alikindoi nos acompañará en el camino y realizará luego un taller de arreglo de pinchazos.

Al finalizar esta actividad, daremos comienzo a nuestra fiesta de verano en el jardín. ¡No olvidéis confirmar vuestra asistencia en el formulario antes del 9 de junio!

REUNIONES PEDAGÓGICAS

La próxima semana se realizarán las últimas reuniones pedagógicas del curso 24/25. Os informamos que el servicio de cuidado de niños estará disponible para las fechas de reunión de las etapas de Comunidad Infantil hasta Taller II.

PEDAGOGICAL MEETINGS

The last pedagogical meetings of the 24/25 academic year will be held next week. We inform you that the childcare service will be available for the meeting dates of the stages from Infant Community to Taller II.

IMPORTANT DATES

There is only one month left until the end of the school year! We remind you that the last day of school is Monday, June 23 for kindergarten and elementary school, and Monday, June 24 for high school. Here are some other important dates to keep in mind:

Graduation Ceremonies:
Taller II - June 10, 1:30 p.m.
Secondary - June 12, 13:30.

Individual tutoring:
Week of June 24-30 for all environments.

¡Queda solo un mes para que termine el año escolar! Os recordamos que el último día de clases es el lunes 23 de junio para infantil y primaria, y el lunes 24 de junio para secundaria. Estas son otras fechas importantes para tener en cuenta:

RECYCLED PAPER WORKSHOP

Adolescents Community shared with Taller I the experience of creating recycled paper.

Girls and boys were able to learn the whole process and prepare their own papers; it was an activity of great collaboration, patience and teamwork.

TALLER DE PAPEL RECICLADO

Comunidad de Adolescentes compartió con Taller I la experiencia de crear papel reciclado.

Niñas y niños pudieron aprender todo el proceso y preparar sus propios papeles; fue una actividad de mucha colaboración, paciencia y trabajo en equipo.

MALAGA PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA REHEARSAL

On Thursday of last week, Taller II and the whole group of students from the last year of Taller I, had the opportunity to attend a rehearsal of the

Orquesta Filarmónica de Málaga at the Teatro Cervantes.
It was a special occasion, in which they were able to observe live the work and coordination behind an orchestra.

ENSAYO ORQUESTA FILARMÓNICA DE MÁLAGA

El jueves de la semana pasada, Taller II y todo el grupo de estudiantes del último año de Taller I, tuvieron la oportunidad de asistir a un ensayo de la Orquesta Filarmónica de Málaga en el Teatro Cervantes.

Fue una ocasión especial, en que pudieron observar en directo el trabajo y la coordinación que hay detrás de una orquesta.
