Dynamics of musical expression At CIMM, we understand music as another language. That's why we strive to create a highly expressive environment for communication through songs, rhythmic work, and singing, applying active methodologies such as Dalcroze, Willems, or Edwin Gordon. Both Dalcroze and Willems were followers of Maria Montessori, sharing with her the same vision of active and experiential music pedagogy.
Music sessions consist of 6 stages: experiencing (doing and feeling); becoming aware; redoing and playing; analyzing; assimilating, and finally recreating artistically what has been learned.
"Education through and for rhythm is capable of awakening the artistic sense of all who engage with it."
