EMERGENCY DRILL

This week we conducted a new emergency drill. The purpose of this activity, which we carry out at least twice a year, is to ensure that both students and the CIMM team are familiar with the appropriate course of action should the need arise. Thanks to these drills, we have identified and implemented improvements to the procedure. The result has been very positive: we managed to evacuate the entire building

SIMULACRO DE EMERGENCIA

Esta semana hemos realizado un nuevo simulacro de emergencia. El objetivo de esta actividad que desarrollamos por lo menos dos veces por año, es que tanto estudiantes como el equipo CIMM estén familiarizados con la manera apropiada de actuar en caso de que fuera necesario. Gracias a estas prácticas hemos detectado y aplicado mejoras en el procedimiento, El resultado ha sido muy favorable: hemos conseguido desalojar al completo en menos de 5 minutos y sin incidencias.

SEXUALITY WORKSHOPS SERIES HAS BEGUN

"Building Sexualities as a Family" is the name of the series of workshops that Cristina Ladrón will be conducting in the different environments of our school. The first session of Taller I has already taken place. The main objectives of this stage are emotional education, the development of healthy self-concept and self-esteem, understanding consent and boundaries, as well as promoting emotional expression and group communication. We remind you that the talk on sexuality for families will take place on February 24 at 5:00 p.m. You can register here.

COMENZÓ EL CICLO DE TALLERES DE SEXUALIDAD

“Construyendo sexualidades en familia” es el nombre del ciclo de talleres que Cristina Ladrón realizará en los distintos ambientes de nuestra escuela. Ya ha tenido lugar la primera sesión de Taller I, una etapa que tiene como objetivos principales la educación emocional, el desarrollo de autoconcepto y autoestima saludables, la comprensión del consentimiento y los límites, además de favorecer la expresión emocional y la comunicación en grupo. ​Os recordamos que la charla de sexualidad para familias se realizará el 24 de febrero a las 17:00 y podéis inscribiros aquí.

PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA AND MUSICAL EXPERIENCE

Taller II attended yesterday's dress rehearsal of the Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra at the Cervantes Theater. The children were able to listen to performances of works by three composers: Edward Elgar (late Romanticism), John Adams (contemporary
music), and Leonard Bernstein (20th century jazz and musical theater). After the outing, they also had the opportunity to go to a cello lesson with a parent from the school, where they were able to practice with the instrument and ask questions about music.

ORQUESTA FILARMÓNICA Y VIVENCIA MUSICAL

Taller II asistió ayer al ensayo general de la Orquesta Filarmónica de Málaga en el Teatro Cervantes. Niñas y niños pudieron escuchar la interpreatación de obras de tres compositores: Edward Elgar (Romanticismo tardío), John Adams (Música contemporánea) y Leonard Bernstein (Siglo XX- Jazz y Musical). Tras esta salida, también tuvieron la oportunidad de realizar un taller de chelo con un padre de la escuela, donde pudieron practicar con el instrumento y resolver dudas musicales.
